Manoj Singh

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

How can we bring our customers greater satisfaction? What new value can we offer? These questions have always guided the way I work with our customers. At 17, I left my hometown of Agra, India, for Mumbai and entered the jewellery industry. I came to Japan at 19, gained experience in the Japanese jewellery market, and founded Classic Diamond in 1996. Since then, through diamond manufacturing, importing and wholesale, we have worked to improve quality, pricing and service. Growing alongside our customers and remaining a company they can trust for years to come: this is our enduring philosophy.

DIA LUCE BRAND PRODUCER

Raised in Kofu, one of Japan’s leading jewellery centres, he encountered diamonds and craftsmanship from an early age. His father is both a diamond merchant and a craftsman. Watching him work helped develop his eye for gemstones and his appreciation of fine workmanship. He later studied at GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in the United States, earning the Graduate Diamonds (G.D.) diploma. Fluent in Japanese, English and Hindi, he combines specialist knowledge with an international outlook. As Dia Luce’s brand producer, he helps develop its jewellery and has appeared on QVC for many years as ‘Abi-san’. He explains diamond expertise in accessible terms, sharing their appeal with a wide audience. Looking beyond the 4Cs, he studies the brilliance and individuality of each stone to propose jewellery that is distinctly Dia Luce.
